Evaluation of Uric Acid Level and Glycemic Status in Type 2 Diabetic Patients in Rasht

Background: Diabetes is one of the most common and costly chronic diseases with an increasing prevalence in all around world. On other hand, relationship between Uric Acid (UA) level glycemic index type 2 diabetic patients not clear. Objective: The aim this study to evaluate UA status patients. Methods: A total 230 diabetes were studied cross-sectional study, who referred Razi Besat clinics 2020. Researcher-made checklist used collect demographic clinical data includes age, sex, duration disease, body mass (BMI), fasting blood sugar (FBS), Cholesterol, Triglyceride (TG), high density lipid (HDL), low (LDL), Hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c), UA, Creatinine (Cr) level, history heart pressure, a smoking. results analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. Results: showed that there was marginally significant HbA1C (r = 0.318, P<0.001), Cr 0.351, P<0.001) (TG) 0.174, P=0.008). Conclusion: Generally, diabetes, serum has adverse effect on status.
